Position Overview: Are you an experienced dental professional looking to take the next step in your career? Northern Arizona Periodontics invites you to join our team as an Surgical Assistant. This role requires prior dental assisting experience and X-ray certification, offering the opportunity to collaborate with our seasoned dental professionals and actively contribute to cutting-edge periodontal and implant procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the periodontist during surgical procedures, for seamless & efficient workflow
• Prepare treatment plans for patients to be delivered by our treatment coordinators
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, & materials for surgical procedures
• Maintain cleanliness and sterility of dental instruments and equipment.
• Educate patients on post-operative care and oral hygiene.
• Take dental X-rays as required, showcasing your expertise.
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation.
• Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring comfort during procedures.
• Collaborate with the dental team to deliver top-quality care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Dental assisting experience is required.
• X-ray certification in Arizona is required.
